Enough to park

Bolstered deep, these rampant emotions

Misty screen, blinding tears

I had to park on the side of the road

I choked so hard, I almost stopped breathing

A loss so steep it became clear

I had to park on the side of the road

Bawling my eyes, in the clear of day

I inhaled and with my fingers attemped to swipe the pain away

As I stepped back on the pedals to drive back home

The realisation hit me, there was nothing I could do to reach you

And so I straightened up and drove myself back to myself
