Soliloquy

They have punched you so many times you have lost yourself in the toss of their blows.

You are kind but they have used it to scorch your world. In your resolve you have squeezed yourself into their way as an act of preservation.

Now everything around you hurts. It is now your turn to burn them all. I pity you and feel helpless because I realise reaching out will assail me and I will break into so many pieces I will not recognise myself.

As I watch you wither. My heart breaks a little because I think you no longer see the beauty of what you were. They have won because they managed to mangle you and have now condemned you right into a corner of torment.

I hope you somehow find your way back to yourself. You are worthy and you are deeply loved.
