What Burns

Thinking of typing something like…

…what burns yells. Summons me to ease myself into a whirring spin of terror. The thoughts. Maybe this is it.

But what does this even mean? The big question mark that floats atop my mind.

Why is the consternation so well sheltered? Why do I keep housing it every time it burns? Why is it never a celebration? It could also be glorious. In the realm of my anxious mind such a luxury is almost ethereal.

So here I am with these words inviting the warmth of a cooling sun to come soothe the heat of my trepidation away.
